This source project is designed to keep storefront state explicit and configuration outside the repository.

Information collected

Checkout collects the information required to create an order and contact forms collect the details required to answer an inquiry. If PostgreSQL is configured, these records are stored in the tables documented in db/schema.sql.

Local cart

The browser cart is stored in local storage until checkout. It is not a substitute for an order record.
